Conservancies are voluntary community organisations made up of people who care for the environment.
There are many different types of Conservancies:
urban | rural | farming | coastal | residential estates | educational institutions | business parks | waste disposal areas | Protected Areas

To be a recognised, significant and sustained contributor to environmental planning and management in KwaZulu-Natal.
Conservancies KZN (the KZN Conservancies Association) is the largest and most active voluntary conservation organisation in South Africa, linking local communities, conservation and sustainable livelihoods to address environmental and economic challenges.
